OREWORLD^® Calcined China Clay is processed by high quality China Clay (soft or hard). The process includes the ingredients, mix, filter pressing, drying, calcining and so on. The characteristics of Calcined China Clay is that, the content of impurity is low and finely dispersed, the extra SiO2 forming glassy phase but not crystallization form of cristobalite,so the expansion is small and homogeneous, quality is stable. Generally, the AL2O3 content in calcined china clay is 42% ~ 46%, mullite content is 50% ~ 65%. Therefore Calcined China Clay can also be called low alumina mullite.
